The seed that would grow to be Coopala was planted in 2000. Like many success stories in California, the company that would become Coopala originally operated out of a garage. With a background as an RN, it was clear to founder Alen Khachatryan that modern esthetician technology was too expensive, and a few big companies had a stranglehold on the market.
