Dual 120,000-Grain Whole-House Water Softener
The AFW Filters Dual 120,000-Grain system is a high-capacity whole-house water softener designed to remove hardness minerals such as calcium and magnesium from water. It features a dual-tank alternating design, ensuring a continuous supply of soft water because one tank remains in service while the other regenerates. The system uses a Fleck 9100SXT metered control valve and premium Purolite C100E ion-exchange resin for efficient operation. With a capacity of up to 120,000 grains, it is suitable for large homes or properties with high water usage. While it effectively softens water, it is not a complete filtration system and does not remove sediment, chlorine, bacteria, or other contaminants. It is designed primarily to reduce hard-water problems.
